Weir’s Plaza goes up in Dallas Knox District with HP soda fountain intact

The prized space on Knox Street where Weir’s Furniture once resided has a new 12-story mixed use development coming, with offices and retail — plans include full preservation of the iconic Highland Park Soda Fountain, which sits adjacent to Weir’s.

Called Weir’s Plaza in the Knox District, it will include an office tower, plus 40,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor — 28,000 square feet of which will be occupied by Weir’s Furniture. It is scheduled for completion in November 2021.
