Alexander Chandler’s story is amazing! We featured Alex in our JULY issue and commemorated it at Real Estate and Friends Magazine’s recent Sweet 16th party in Dallas. Alex was awarded a framed print of his story.

Nancy Holzwarth, publisher of Real Estate and Friends Magazine had the pleasure of meeting up with Alexander Chandler, Broker of Alexander Chandler Realty, for a feature story in our July, 2019 magazine. Nancy was completely captivated by the lonnnnng history of Alexander’s family! She describes it as a verbal history lesson of Texas milestones! If you haven’t seen Alex’s story, you will enjoy it!

Captivated! YES! That’s how it was to hear Alexander Chandler’s story!

Cliff Notes: Alexander is a 7th generation Fort Worthian from an 11th generation Texas family. Tracing his mother’s Texas roots back to the mid-1830’s & father’s back to the early 1700’s. Alexander Chandler’s Texas roots can be traced back to 1731 with ancestors being members of the 13 founding families from the Canary Islands settling San Antonio when it was a Spanish Territory. His direct ancestor, John William Smith, who served the the Texas Revolution by devising the plan to take the Alamo. He was sent out twice as a messenger during the Seige of the Alamo, and delivered the final message from Travis before the fall of the Alamo. Then there’s that one about his g-g-g-g-g-g-g- great grandmother, Betty Washington Lewis being the sister to George Washington! Growing up, the one thing Alexander knew with certainty was that he did NOT want to be in real estate because he was always involved in it as a child. In 2007, Alexander launched Alexander Chandler Realty in his Fort Worth house with one listing, one agent – Rudy Pulido, and an original goal of specializing in new homes. At the age of 46, to Harvard Business School. Alexander completed the Owners, President’s Management Program at Harvard Business School and also took negotiation classes at the Harvard Program of Negotiation at Harvard Law School. He’s also a graduate of Reid Buckely School of Public Speaking.
